Because reading blogs seems to only partially satisfy the need I have to connect to other knitters, I thought I would try starting a blog to see if that adds to the experience. As a neophyte blogger I am more nervous about my computer skills than I am about my writing and knitting skills. I learned to knit when I was a child, picked it up again many times over the years and have only recently become obsessed. How could I not have known that having really good yarn and needles in your hands could be theraputic? Of course it can be frustrating as well. I'm trying to learn the life lessons that the work doesn't have to be perfect, and when the less than perfect becomes too much, there is such a thing as a "do over" in knitting. Too bad the rest of life doesn't work that way. Lois
